The most important advantages are convenient transport sollutions and the short distance to the cities.
There are two National Roads which go through the Rural District of Radwanice :
No. 3 – linking the seaside city Świnoujście with the Czech Republic border in Jakuszyce. This road is the Polish part of the International Route E65 from Malmö in Sweden to Chania in Crete. Currently, the reconstruction of the Expressway S3 is in progerss which will make even better transport solutions with the National Road Network.
No. 12 - going parallelly through Poland to the border with Germany in Leknica and the border with Ukraine in Dorohusk-Berdyszczach.
In addition, our location is near to:
European capitals:
Due to the attractive location (close to big cities and good transport connections) and the comprehensive development of the village-Radwanice and access to all kinds of public places, the Rural Commune of Radwanice grows as far as the housing construction is concerned, and that is why the number of inhabitants increases. Apart from the positive balance of migration, there is also positive population growth. In the years 2002-2015 the number of inhabitants increased by 9.4%.
The advantage of Our Community is the active, ambitious and hard-working residents. A big benefit is the average age of people living here, which is 37 years old and it is lower than both the average age of the residents of Lower Silesia and the inhabitants of whole Poland. The largest group consists of people at working age and children. The working age population according to statistical data is 64.9%, while 20.6% is the pre-working age.
In our rural borough we have highly developed human resources. Over 22 % of the population has higher education or secondary schools education, 17% of secondary vocational and 29% of vocational. 26 % of the population is still in the age of learning (3-24 years). Nearby, there are many vocational, secondary and technical schools and universities. Flexibility of educational profiles puts the ability to adjust the profile of education to the needs of the investor who will be able to cooperate with nearby schools to help develop qualified society of future employees, on the technical, science and arts fields.
The local authorities offer support in choosing the location and the preparation of investment and cooperation with investors from Poland and abroad. Effective economic policy enables and accelerates the implementation of investment objectives . It is worth mentioning that local authorities carry out efficient and constant financial management and offer attractive and fixed tax rates. An efficient financial policy and actions of local government and infrastructure development are the guarantee of efficient and professional cooperation with future investors.
Another important advantage which makes our village attractive as far as locating the investment is concerned is the possibility of cooperation with nearby businesses at the level of production and services. Within the short distance from our village, there is a LSSE (Legnica Special Economic Zone), there are companies such as: Volkswagen Motor Polska Sp. o.o. (Germany), Sitech Sp. o.o. (Germany) and Viessmann heating technology Sp. o.o. (Germany), Sanden Manufacturing Poland Sp. o.o. (Japan), Royal Europa Sp. o.o. (Canada), Faurecia Legnica S. A. (France), Gates Poland Sp. o.o. (USA), CCC Factory Sp. o.o. (Poland).
In Radwanice, there is a highly developed transport forwarding company called “Usługi Transportowe Krajowe i Międzynarodowe Krzysztof Ostaszewski”. It has existed on the local market since 1982 and employed about 240 skilled workers , including dispatchers who speak German, English and Russian to facilitate cooperation with foreign entrepreneurs .
Radwanice is also close to Legnica-Głogów Copper District (LGOM), which is the main center of the copper industry in Poland and one of the largest copper explotation centers in the world. We are in the district of mining industry, which is the center of the world leaders in the mining and processing of copper - KGHM Polish Copper S.A.
Our location also promotes investments in renewable energy sources (OZE). Investors are attracted by the availability of infrastructure, energy and the best sunlight land in the country. Currently, there were 7 decisions for investments concerning the renewable energy and creating photovoltaic farms.
Since 2016 in the village - Buczyna, there is a photovoltaic farm with a capacity of 1MW. It occupies an area of about 2 hectares and consists of 4 thousand photovoltaic panels. It is the first such a big farm in Lower Silesia. Investments in renewable energy sources proves not only the care about the environment but also a chance to use renewable energy for production or service and the possibility of significant savings on the purchase of energy network. The use of renewable energy sources gives the company not only the economic factor but also the image of an environmentally friendly institution.
Moreover, the actions of our local government focus on the overall development and the image which result in increasing the attractiveness of our rural district. By taking care of the budget and skillful raising external funds, we focus on the development and quality of infrastructure (roads, water supply, sewerage system, communication network, etc..) and on the quality and development of social infrastructure such as objects of social purpose - pavements, cycle paths, green spaces, culture facilities, education, etc.). All of these things significantly affects the level and quality of life. An efficient financial policy and actions of local government and infrastructure development prove high competence of local authorities, and thus the efficient and professional cooperation with future investors!
